Planning a Catholic Wedding

Perfect For Hawaii

Planning a Catholic wedding can be a long process. The good thing to know is you can have the beautiful Hawaii Catholic destination wedding that you are dreaming of.

The first thing you will need to do is contact your local parish priest. He will set everything in motion for you. You will make arrangements for the classes that need to be taken and for all of your paperwork to be in order.

You will need to contact the Honolulu diocese from 6-12 months ahead of time to make arrangements for the date and church of your choice to be available. You and your priest will also need to contact them at least 3-4 months prior with all of the correct paperwork.

Even though it seems like a lot of work, there aren't really many extras that go along with this. Most of the requirements that you will have are needed for Catholic wedding planning at your home church as well.

So, if you are planning a destination wedding and a Catholic wedding, make sure to enjoy yourself. Don't listen to those that say it can't be done. You are going to have an incredible experience and a beautiful, tropical wedding.
